Subject: Search in the Trash view doesn't work
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.1
Reproducible: Always

While in the Trash view, I can use the "Starts with" searching (i.e. start typing and it will go to the item in the sorted column that starts with that text) and the Edit-Find (Ctrl-F) options successfully.

However, if I try the "Search for" option, View-Search this view, while in the Trash folder, the result is always 0 found, even if I use text that is definitely in one of the documents in that view.

I have tried with and without a full text index, but neither will yield an accurate result. This type of searching works on all other folders/views that I have tried. In addition, this reaction occurs on every desktop I have tested, albeit that number is few.

Thank you for any feedback or assistance offered.

Matt
